His home in Barcelona was a meeting point for guitarists and travelling virtuosos where Broca and Arcas played. Francisco Trrega copied parts of Vias pieces into his own works. Vias Fantasie original has always been present in the guitarist's repertoire and here are many more rewarding works, from simple to demanding.
