Paul Wranitzky was born in 1756, Mozart's birth year, in Nova Rise. Moravia. , and died in Vienna in 1808, one year before Haydn. The three trios opus number 3 are remarkable in their absolute mastery of the genre in terms of poise, formal variety and wealth of ideas. The result is a score extremely rich in content, all three instruments being treated equally.
