The second verse features an inversion of the melody. It starts out in a minor key. handchimes in a minor key always have a special, eerily beautiful feel. then half-way through, switches back to the relative major. The third verse replaces the handchimes with handbells, moves up one step, and is louder and uses the full 4 and 5 octave ranges to enable much fuller chords than the 3 octaves of chimes used in the first 2 verses would allow.
