A magnificent Sonata for Trumpet and Piano, by perhaps the greatest English Composer of the Baroque period. Originally for Trumpet and Strings, this is an accurate and faithful Piano transcription by Karl Heinz Fessel. This volume contains two versions of Purcell's glorious Sonata. one in the key of D, for C Trumpet and Piano, and the other in B flat for B flat Trumpet with Piano.
