Extra Information Raff's last symphony (symphony no.11 was apparently composed a few years earlier but published posthumously.). There is also a stand-alone "Elegie" (WoO.48) for orchestra that was intended to be the third movement of this symphony - and may have been part of its 1879 version? - before it was replaced by the current movement.
